Shinster: Our International AI Webshop Built with Base44 for 27 Countries and 24 Languages

We are proud to introduce Shinster, our new international AI webshop and own brand, built with Base44.

Shinster runs on Base44: we built the product and order data model, the internal admin dashboard, the multilingual content pipeline and the AI backend functions as a Base44 app. Below we show exactly what we built with Base44 and how it works.

Shinster was created with a clear goal: to build a scalable e-commerce brand that can operate across multiple countries, languages and markets from one connected system.

The webshop was launched for 27 countries and 24 languages, with custom shin guards as the core product category. But for us, Shinster is much more than a webshop. It is a live example of how we see the future of international e-commerce: smarter, faster, more connected and supported by AI.

More than a traditional webshop

A classic webshop usually works as a sales surface. Products are uploaded, categories are created, content is written, campaigns are launched, and then the team tries to manage all the information across different tools.

With Shinster, we wanted to think differently.

The goal was to build an e-commerce platform where marketing, business information, product structure, website management and future development can work together in one place.

This means the system is not only there to display products. It can also support analysis, suggest improvements and help us continuously develop the webshop based on the information available inside the platform.

For us, this is one of the most exciting directions in online business.

Why this project is important for us

Shinster is our own brand, so it gives us the freedom to test, build and improve without the limitations that usually come with client projects.

We can experiment with new workflows, multilingual SEO structures, AI-supported content systems, international landing pages, automation and faster development processes.

This is extremely valuable, because the lessons we learn from Shinster can later be used in client projects as well.

In other words, Shinster is not only a brand. It is also a real testing ground for the future of e-commerce development.

27 countries, 24 languages and one scalable system

Building a webshop for one country is already a serious project.

Building it for 27 countries and 24 languages requires a completely different mindset.

The structure has to be scalable from the beginning. SEO, content, language versions, country targeting, product logic, user experience and marketing workflows all need to be planned as one connected system.

Design your own: the real-time shin guard configurator on Shinster

This is exactly where we see a huge opportunity in AI-supported development.

When the technical foundation is strong and the workflow is well structured, it becomes much easier to build, test and improve international e-commerce systems at a speed that would have been very difficult a few years ago.

Why we believe in Vibe coding for e-commerce

Based on our current experience, we believe that Vibe coding can become a very important direction in e-commerce development.

For us, Vibe coding does not mean that "AI builds everything instead of people."

It means that strategy, product thinking, data structure, business logic and AI-assisted development work together in a much faster process.

The human still defines the goal, the structure, the logic and the quality standard. AI helps with execution, iteration and development speed.

This is especially powerful in e-commerce, because online stores are never really finished.

A good webshop constantly needs new landing pages, product pages, campaigns, SEO improvements, content updates, automation, reporting, testing and conversion improvements.

With the right AI-supported development environment, these changes can happen much faster.

Why Base44 is part of this direction

We built Shinster with the same mindset we use in our AI development projects: create a real system, not just a nice-looking prototype.

For this, Base44 has become one of the most interesting platforms for us.

Base44 makes it possible to build applications and e-commerce related systems much faster than with a traditional development workflow. It gives us a strong foundation for data structure, logic, interface building and AI-supported workflows.

Of course, it does not replace strategic thinking.

You still need to understand the business model, the customer journey, the data model, the SEO structure and the long-term goal of the project.

But if these foundations are clear, Base44 can speed up the development process significantly.

How we actually used Base44 on Shinster

Concretely, Base44 is not a side tool in this project, it runs the parts of Shinster that a storefront alone cannot handle:

  • Data model first. Products, variants, custom design orders, countries and the 24 language versions live as structured entities, so one product record feeds every localized product page instead of 24 duplicated content sets.
  • Admin dashboard on top of real data. The internal dashboard we show in this article is a Base44 app: order lists, custom design previews, country level sales views and content status are all read from the same entities, so there is no export, spreadsheet, re-import loop.
  • Backend functions for the repetitive work. Product metadata translation, SEO title and description generation per language, and sitemap building run as backend functions we call from the dashboard, so adding a new market is a configuration step, not a two week project.
  • AI where it saves hours, not where it looks good. An AI step drafts localized product copy and meta descriptions from the master product record, then a human reviews before publishing. The draft, review, publish states are stored on the record, so we always know what is machine written and what is approved.
  • Automations instead of manual checks. Scheduled runs re-check indexing and content gaps and write the results back into the dashboard, so the team sees what needs attention when they open it, without asking anyone for a report.

That is the practical difference: the webshop sells, and the Base44 layer behind it stores the business logic, the multilingual content pipeline and the reporting in one system.

The future: smarter e-commerce systems

We believe that the future of e-commerce will not only be about better design or faster websites.

Those are important, but they are no longer enough.

The next generation of online stores will need to connect business data, marketing workflows, SEO, automation, content and product logic into one smarter system.

Ultra-light, extra strong: premium EVA foam core and PE outer shell

A webshop should not only sell.

It should help the business understand what is happening, where the opportunities are, what needs to be improved and what should be built next.

This is the direction we are working towards with Shinster.
