We began the shoot with a detailed walkthrough of the location to find the most ideal backdrop for the two interviews. Our goal was to choose an environment where the background would be not only aesthetically pleasing but also dynamic, avoiding a sterile appearance. After thoroughly scouting the store, we chose the vegetable section, where we set up the lighting, tripods, and microphones. The first interview went smoothly, thanks to the professional team and the cooperation of the onsite staff. For the second interview, we wanted a similarly attractive background, so we repositioned the cameras by 90 degrees and again found an impressive backdrop.
We recorded the interviews first to find out what b-rolls shots we would need later. Subsequently, we started filming at the self-checkout area, focusing on the pop-up windows during the checkout process. After clearing the area, we continued with shots of the regular checkouts and promotional signs, as well as the products featured in the double points promotion.
During the commercial shoot, we paid attention not only to the technical details but also to the comfort of the participants and the smooth operation of the location. The Tesco staff were extremely helpful, quickly responding to all our requests, allowing us to work seamlessly.
The shots of the promotional products were particularly important, as they showcased the prizes and opportunities associated with the scratch card game. These scenes were not only informative but also visually appealing, thanks to the careful preparations and creative approach before and during the commercial shoot.
By the end of the day, we successfully captured all the planned scenes, and every team member left satisfied. The completed footage excellently reflects the results of our collaboration and professional attitude. We hope that viewers will receive the film with the same enthusiasm with which we made it.
